The leaves are rolled into small, tight spheres, each retaining a tiny bit of the stem. In its dry state, the tea is a deep olive color with an oily, lustrous sheen; it gives off a soft, spicy aroma with hints of chocolate and nuts.

When brewed, the liquor is clear, pure, and a rich amber hue. The aroma is complex and refined—sweet and floral, with notes of Cuban rum, caramel, and gingerbread. On the palate, it is silky and well-balanced, revealing nuances of dark chocolate, cacao beans, figs, sweet dates, and dried banana. How to brew

Steaming

• Teaware: porcelain or clay teapot / gaiwan
• Water: 85-90°C
• Ratio of dry tea leaves: 4-5 g. per 100 ml water

Brew in short infusions of 10-30 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.

Infusion method
